Facts Vs. Myths

Myth: Smoking Industrial Hemp can get a person "High."
Fact:Not only will smoking Industrial Hemp not get you "High," Industrial Hemp actually contains high levels of another compound that blocks the "High" feeling generated from smoking Medicinal Grade Cannabis plants (aka. Marijuana by the DEA definition).

Myth: People who support Industrial Hemp are only doing so with secret hopes of legalizing Medicinal Grades of Cannabis.
Fact: Although there are many people who support both Industrial Hemp and Medicinal Grades of Cannabis, there are now also thousands of everyday supporters that realize the many uses of Industrial Hemp and are also aware of the separation between the two plants. The Hemp legalization movement has worked very hard to again separate the two plants and is very explicit in upholding this·separation, with no secret agenda to legalize Medicinal Grades of Cannabis.

Myth: Industrial Hemp fields would be used to hide Medicinal Grades of Cannabis.
Fact: Not only does this not make sense because the two plants are harvested at different times, making it obvious that someone is hiding something, it also would be very undesirable because Industrial Hemp will Cross-Pollinate with Medicinal Grades of Cannabis, making it much less potent.

Myth: Growing Industrial Hemp would make enforcing current laws regarding Medicinal Grades of Cannabis more difficult.
Fact: Many other countries across the globe grow Hemp and have not had any problems with this. In fact, growing Hemp would actually make growing Medicinal Grades of Cannabis more difficult because of Cross-Pollination, in essence, helping law enforcement.

Myth: Eating Hemp Foods would make me fail a drug test.
Fact: Although Hemp foods may contain trace amounts of THC, and it would not be physically impossible, you would have to eat an enormous amount for any detectable amounts to show up on a drug test. When eating a normal amount of Hemp foods, this is not an issue.
